Meet the Families Affected by Last Week's Shooting in Elk Grove

Kamaljit Atwal, whose father barely survived the shooting, hopes media coverage of the case will prompt a witness to come forward with information—and claim a reward that now stands at more than $42,000.

“The criminals, they have only two or four eyes,” he says. “But the world is watching. Here in this community there are tens of thousands of eyes. Someone has to have seen something.”

Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call Crime Alert at 916-443-4357 or the Elk Grove Police Department at 916-714-5115.
